Sedum Burrito

Sedum Burrito

Sedum ‘Burrito’ is a charming succulent known for its trailing stems densely packed with plump, bead-like leaves that resemble a cascading green rope. Its silvery-green foliage often takes on bluish or reddish hues when exposed to bright sunlight, making it a favorite for hanging baskets, window boxes, or vertical gardens. This easy-care succulent produces tiny star-shaped cream or yellow flowers in summer when mature.

  • Foliage: Small, fleshy, bead-like leaves; silvery-green with possible sun-induced color changes.

  • Growth Habit: Trailing, cascading stems ideal for hanging pots or containers.

  • Flowering: Tiny, star-shaped cream to yellow flowers in summer.

  • Height/Spread: Stems can trail 60–90 cm or more; plant itself is low-growing.

  • Hardiness: Drought-tolerant; prefers frost-free conditions but can tolerate light frost if protected.

Care Tips:

  • Light: Prefers bright indirect light to full sun; partial shade in very hot climates.

  • Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix to prevent root rot.

  • Watering: Water sparingly—allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.

  • Fertilizer: Feed lightly in spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertilizer.

  • Temperature: Protect from frost; thrives in warm, dry conditions.

  • Maintenance: Prune any shriveled stems and propagate easily from cuttings or stem segments.

The first three photo serves a display purpose only. The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 80mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
